Not good or bad, but Alive!

Not good or bad, but alive! Romans 8:9 “You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.” There are religious people who have the name of Christ but whose spirit is the spirit of Adam. They belong to the old order which perishes, not to the new order of life in Christ Jesus. The point is not that they are good or bad but that they are dead. Their direction is wrong; they are on their way to the grave, not on their way out of it! It is not that I plant, but what I plant that matters. A man could plant gold beads for a lifetime and have nothing to show for his trouble. Christ makes the difference between death and life, always and everywhere. He is the Prince of life and whatever He touches lives! The fabled Midas had a magic power which made everything he touched turn to gold. It is not a fable, but wondrously true and real, that the power to give life belongs to Christ. Nothing He touches can never die and whatever is dead has only to be touched by Him to live again and forever! “We who bear the name of Christ should give ourselves no rest till we are sure we posses the Spirit of Christ...Without that Spirit no man can speak a living word or do an immortal deed!” A.W. Tozer So many people who carry the name Christian seem to be lacking the Spirit of Christ. Their lives are full of sin, depression and live according to the World. Listen to the Biblical evidence and let the Spirit of Christ shower you with Truth and Righteousness. Galatians 5:22-24 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.” Remember they which have not the Spirit of Christ do not belong to Him. The proof of our belonging to Christ is not the ability to voice Jesus or quote a Scripture now and again; it is in the proof of the Holy Spirit possessing the believing soul! Not good, not bad, but Alive in Christ. Come to the fountain filled with blood, drawn from Emmanuel’s veins. Sinner’s bunged beneath that flood, loose all their guilty stains.

3 Things!

I know it is not just me but many of you have wondered about why things
seem to be moving so fast. So called economic crises, healthcare reform,
bailouts and so many other things seem to overwhelm most. I am not a
prophet but I know what the Bible says. Regardless of the situation you and
I find ourselves we need to remember what Paul the Apostle writes; 2Ti 3:1-
5 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be
lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient
to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous,
without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash,
conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God– having a form of
godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do w ith them. From this
passage of Scripture I would like to sugg est three things to ponder. 1) F aith
2) Holiness 3) Prayer. Faith is not an option in order to please God. We
must believe and put our Trust in Jesus Christ. Remember Jesus said that
before He comes many with wonder from the faith, so we need to be
Trusting in Him to bring us through every situation and not trusting in
government or men. Heb 12:2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and
perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross,
scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Second thing to consider is Holiness. Paul states that in the last days many
will have a form of godliness but denying its power. Many people all around
us seem to be religious. But Christian s now that religion does not bring
about a Holy life. The Bible says that without Holiness no one will see God.
So how do we live H oly lives amongst a religious godless society? Obedience
to Jesus Commands! Jesus Blood makes us Holy and we need to be Holy as
He is Holy! The H oly Spirit helps us to live Holy and G odly lives. The lost
world needs to see true believers living what they profess. Thirdly we need
prayer. This is the weapon of the believer. Paul talks about our strugg le in
this life in Ephesians chapter 6:10-18. Each piece of armor can only be put
on through prayer. Listen to Paul Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his
mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand
against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood,
but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this
dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Therefore put on the full arm or of God, so that when the day of evil comes,
you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything,
to stand. Stand firm then, with th e belt of truth buckled around your waist,
with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with
the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this,
take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming
arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the
Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the S pirit on all occasions w ith
all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always
keep on praying for all th e saints . With everything th at is going on in life
we all need these 3 things; Faith, Holiness and prayer!

Declaration of Dependence upon Christ

Whereas we hold these truths to be self-evident...
*that all men, according to God’s Word, are sinners.
*that the wages of sin is death-eternal separation from God.
*that no man is able to save himself, not by his character, his good works, his religious resolves, or by any other means.
*that Jesus Christ is the only Savior for lost mankind.
*that He died to redeem us and pay the penalty for our sin that we might be free.
*that by simply believing in His death, burial and Resurrection and receiving Him as your personal Savior we have Eternal Life.

We do hereby affirm our signatures to this declaration to make known our belief of Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord and to acknowledge our complete dependence for time and eternity upon Him and Him Alone!

Signed by Millions upon Millions now living and dead.

Homosexuality and Christianity

What about homosexuality and being a Christian? Is this possible? Is living in sin and being saved from the penalty of sin even possible? Woe to a people who calls evil good and good evil! We all have sinned, yes. We all will from time to time fall into sin. What does God’s Word say about this. 1Jo 3:4-6 Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him. Galatians 5:19-21 The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. Again 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. Now read this article that lays out a scenario. “As more states-like Iowa-approve same-sex “marriage,” conservatives are claiming that freedom of religion is in peril. Same-sex “marriage” supporters accuse them of engaging in hysterical gay-bating. Who’s telling the truth?
Let me share some stories with you from an excellent news broadcast produced by National Public Radio. Then you decide.
Two women decided to hold their civil union ceremony at a New Jersey pavilion owned by the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association. This Methodist group told the women they could not “marry” in any building used for religious purposes. The Rev. Scott Hoffman said a theological principle-that marriage can only exist between one man and one woman-was at stake. The women filed a discrimination complaint with the New Jersey Division of Civil Rights. The Methodists said the First Amendment protected their right to practice their faith without being punished by the government. But punish the Methodists is exactly what New Jersey did. It revoked their tax exemption-a move that cost them $20,000. Then there’s the case of the Christian physicians who refused to provide in vitro fertilization treatment to a woman in a lesbian relationship. The doctors referred her to their partners, who were willing to provide the treatment. But that wasn’t good enough. The woman sued. The California Supreme Court agreed with the woman, saying that the doctors’ religious beliefs didn’t give them the right to refuse the controversial treatment. In Massachusetts, Catholic Charities was told they had to accept homosexual couples in their adoption service, or get out of the adoption business. They chose correctly-get out of the business.
In Mississippi, a mental health counselor was sued for refusing to provide therapy to a woman looking to improve her lesbian relationship. The counselor’s employers fired her-a move that was backed up by the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. In New York, the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University refused to allow same-sex couples to live in married student housing, in keeping with the school’s orthodox Jewish teachings. But in 2001, the New York State Supreme Court forced them to do so anyway-even though New York has no same-sex “marriage” law.
In Albuquerque, a same-sex couple asked a Christian wedding photographer to film their commitment ceremony-and sued the photographer when she declined. An online adoption service was forced to stop doing business in California when a same-sex couple sued the service for refusing, on religious grounds, to assist them. Convinced? Clearly, homosexual “marriage” and religious liberty cannot co-exist-because gay activists will not allow them to. As marriage expert Maggie Gallagher puts it, same-sex “marriage” advocates claim that religious faith “itself is a form of bigotry.” I know this may sound alarmist, but it’s true. If we don’t work to stop this juggernaut, we may soon find ourselves hunted down at work, at school, and even at church-as others have been-by those determined to force us to accept as a moral good what God calls evil. Our attitude toward all sin must change. All sin will lead to Hell! May the Holy Spirit give all of us reading this conviction to view sin the way God does. Let us truly be Born again in Christ Jesus!

Consider prayer and think of the possibilities.

Consider prayer and think of the possibilities. “Prayer should be the breath of our breathing, the thought of our thinking, the soul of our feeling, and the life of our living, the sound of our hearing, the growth of our growing.” Prayer in its magnitude is length without end, width without bounds, height without top, and depth without bottom. Illimitable in its breadth, exhaustless in height, fathomless in depths and infinite in extension.- Homer W. Hodge God can help us. God is a Father. We need God’s good things to help us to “do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly before God.” We need Divine aid to act brotherly, wisely, and nobly, and to judge truly, and charitably. God’s help to do all these things in God’s way is secured by prayer. “Ask, and ye shall receive; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” Behind every prayer of a believing soul is faith. This is why holy men and women of old were commended! Heb 11:32-40 And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel and the prophets, who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies. Women received back their dead, raised to life again. Others were tortured and refused to be released, so that they might gain a better resurrection. Some faced jeers and flogging, while still others were chained and put in prison. They were stoned; they were sawed in two; they were put to death by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated-- the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, and in caves and holes in the ground. These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised. God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect. So have you considered the power and possibilities of faith based prayer? The Holy Spirit can and will help us in our weakness! Listen to E.M. Bounds “What a mighty Christ of prayer is the Holy Spirit! How He quenches every flame in the heart but the flame of heavenly desire! How He quiets, like a weaned child, all the self-will, until in will, in brain, and in heart, and by mouth, we pray only as He prays. “Making intercession for the saints, according to the will of God.” Better to pray than to fret. Better to pray than to talk about praying! So let us pray in faith.

To die is to Gain!

VERY soon your life here will end; consider, then, what may be in store for you elsewhere. Today we live; tomorrow we die and are quickly forgotten. Oh, the dullness and hardness of a heart which looks only to the present instead of preparing for that which is to come! Therefore, in every deed and every thought, act as though you were to die this very day. If you had a good conscience you would not fear death very much. It is better to avoid sin than to fear death. If you are not prepared today, how will you be prepared tomorrow? Tomorrow is an uncertain day; how do you know you will have a tomorrow? What good is it to live a long life when we amend that life so little? Indeed, a long life does not always benefit us, but on the contrary, frequently adds to our guilt. Would that in this world we had lived well throughout one single day. Many count up the years they have spent in religion but find their lives made little holier. If it is so terrifying to die, it is nevertheless possible that to live longer is more dangerous. Blessed is he who keeps the moment of death ever before his eyes and prepares for it every day. If you have ever seen a man die, remember that you, too, must go the same way. In the morning consider that you may not live till evening, and when evening comes do not dare to promise yourself the dawn. Be always ready, therefore, and so live that death will never take you unprepared. Many die suddenly and unexpectedly, for in the unexpected hour the Son of God will come. When that last moment arrives you will begin to have a quite different opinion of the life that is now entirely past and you will regret very much that you were so careless and remiss. How happy and prudent is he who tries now in life to be what he wants to be found in death. Perfect contempt of the world, a lively desire to advance in virtue, a love for discipline, the works of penance, readiness to obey, self-denial, and the endurance of every hardship for the love of Christ, these will give a man great expectations of a happy death. Great Day it will be when I die in Christ Jesus!!

Honor thy Mother!

Do you have Moral principals that guide your world view? Everyone sees the world through preconceived moral principles. What is right, what is wrong and who or what determines that foundation. Listen to God; “Exodus 20:12 "Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.” Wow what a principle and a promise! I would like share a thought about Mothers day. First off I think Mothers day is under rated. What is my problem with that idea? The World views mothers as a means to an end, money. Can you put a price tag on your mother? Proverb 31:10 “A wife (or mother) of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.” I am blessed to have such a mother that all the flowers, gifts and money in the World could not replace a hug, kiss and a I love you. To show honor to my mother daily and not yearly brings more wealth to my soul than all the money in the World! I must say shame on you if you cannot honor your mother who gave you life. Besides the fact God’s promise is void for those who do not honor their mother. It is incomprehensible to me that one day a year is set aside to honor mothers. If I cannot honor my mother everyday than I need to be shamed! One good mother is worth a hundred schoolmasters. There is none, in all this cold and hollow world, no fount of deep, strong, deathless love, save that within a mother's heart. I think Lincoln said it best “No man is poor who has had a Godly mother. Proverb 31:27 She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. 28 Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: If I could recount the numerous times my mother spent praying for my safety and health it would add up to years and I thank God for such a mother as this, she is BLESSED! I must say to my mother; "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all. Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.” Some refuse to praise the Lord for their mother, but for those who have a God fearing mother knows that Mothers Day is everyday!

I Dare you to be a Bible Christian!

One of the most massive and widespread occurrences of identity theft has happened, and it is not even attracting the attention of local, state or national leaders. This particularly insidious method targets a minority group, stealing their most precious possession, and yet even more compelling is that the perpetrator assumes nearly permanent "residency" in the victim's identity. The mastermind behind this worldwide ring has cells in every city and town in America – including operatives in many unsuspecting homes. The evidence of this outrage is right before our eyes, but we have simply chosen to ignore its existence, pretending that the consequences will be insignificant. The "victim" is biblical Christianity, and the operatives of this fraud are millions of Americans, both clergy and laity, who are walking around using that identity with no right to do so! Why have today's churches become largely irrelevant? They have abandoned core beliefs to satisfy their seeker friendly, political correct, feel good membership! As George Barna points out in a recent survey: six out of 10 Christians surveyed believe "that Satan 'is not a living being but is a symbol of evil.'" In addition, only 25 percent strongly disagree that God the Holy Spirit is "a symbol of God's power or presence but is not a living entity." The coup de grace of this snapshot of anarchy is that less than one-half of Christians strongly disagreed that "Jesus Christ sinned when He lived on earth." The first of those beliefs reflects either complete ignorance or rejection of Scriptural truth, while the second and third are clear heresy against orthodox Christian doctrines of the Holy Trinity and the sinless nature and life of Jesus Christ. Many insist that we all have the right to practice Christianity as our conscience dictates. NOT! We have the privilege of living out a faith based on absolute truth as given to us by the Author and Finisher of that faith without error or omission in His written word. If people want to worship their concept of god(which is Idolatry) they have the freedom to do so in America, but that is an enemy of Biblical Christianity. Biblical Christianity teaches that we sinners can come into a personal relationship with the Living Holy God through repentance and believing in the work of Jesus Christ. His Death, burial and Resurrection are the foundational Doctrines of True Biblical Christianity. The nation that has produced the greatest good for the greatest number is teetering on the precipice of civil tyranny and moral anarchy because, foremost, we have rejected the only Source of freedom, His sovereignty of all of His creation and the absolute truth revealed in His Son and written word. In British scholar Harry Blamire's "The Christian Mind," he asserts: “For the secularist, God and theology are playthings of the mind. For the Christian, God is real, and Christian theology describes his truth revealed to us. For the secular mind, religion is essentially a matter of theory; for the Christian mind, Christianity is a matter of acts and facts. The acts and facts which are the basis of our faith are recorded in the Bible. They have been interpreted and illuminated in the long history of the church. So I ask you dear reader; are you a feel good, politically correct and seeker to worship god whom you recreated in your own image or are you a True Biblical Christian? Jesus said “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.” The choice is yours! Christian by name only or Christian in action and Truth!

Do you desire Enlightenment?

Great Day I am in need of the Sunlight of the Spirit! Everyday brings more trouble just as Jesus instructed. I would like to offer a prayer Enlighten me, good Jesus, with the brightness of internal light, and take away all darkness from the habitation of my heart. Enlarge my heart and my desire for your Holiness. Restrain my wandering thoughts and suppress the temptations which attack me so violently. Fight strongly for me, and vanquish these evil beasts — the alluring desires of the flesh — so that peace may come through Your power and the fullness of Your praise resound in the holy courts, which is a pure conscience. Command the winds and the tempests; say to the sea: “Be still,” and to the north wind, “Do not blow,” and there will be a great calm. Send forth Your light and Your truth to shine on the earth, for I am as earth, empty and formless until You illumine me. “Pour out Your grace from above. Shower my heart with heavenly dew. Open the springs of devotion to water the earth, that it may produce the best of good fruits. Lift up my heart pressed down by the weight of sins, and direct all my desires to heavenly things, that having tasted the sweetness of supernal happiness, I may find no pleasure in thinking of earthly things. Snatch me up and deliver me from all the passing comfort of creatures, for no created thing can fully quiet and satisfy my desires. Join me to Yourself in an inseparable bond of love; because You alone can satisfy him who loves You, and without You all things are worthless.” Thomas E. Kempes. Satisfy my longing with your Goodness, Mercy and Grace. Lead me in the Way Everlasting, for the Glory of the Holy Child Jesus! Amen

Consider the Risen Christ!

Up from the grave He Arose, with a mighty Triumph over His foes! What a wonderful thing to know that Jesus did not just pour His life’s Blood upon the Cross of Golgotha’s Hill but overcame the power of sin and Death by His Resurrection from Hades (abode of the dead). It has been over a week since the Church celebrated that marvelous Victory, but what now? Is it Church as usual? Are Christians going to put Jesus back in a box until next year? I pray the answer is Absolutely Not! So many Christians get caught up in the Pagan celebration of Easter with little emphasis on Christ. They mention the Resurrection of Jesus and go about their lives until the next Easter bunny time! I want to challenge you to examine your Easter Celebrations. What does the Easter bunny and egg hunts have to do with the Resurrection of Christ Jesus? Have you ever studied what Easter really means? Did the early Church in the Bible celebrate the Resurrection by having egg hunts to reach children? Best question to ask is; would Jesus go to a Easter egg hunt at His Church? I know this goes against the grain of most people. The only motive of writing this is to ask; is Jesus enough? This World that is in darkness sees what we followers of Jesus are doing. Does the World see the Resurrected Christ exemplified in the Church or only a side issue? Are we as believers putting Jesus first or are we blending the ways of the World with Church? James 4:4 You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. All I can say is Christ is Risen and has overcame the World! So Hebrews 12:1-3 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. Jesus is ENOUGH!

Easter

This was such a wonderful Easter. In celebration of the resurrection of my Lord, I cooked for the family, and enjoyed every minute of it. Lisa and her three kids, Jeremiah, Hailey, and Cody came over. As well as Fonda, Andy, Logan, and Bailey. Of course the McClures were all there, Johnny, Diane, Ryan, Peyton, Aaron, and Ashton. Rusty even came up and stayed all night with me the night before. We missed Stevee, Nathan, Tanya, Reagan, Daniel, and Samuel, as well as Nicole and James. Hopefully they will make the next holiday. We had a blast. I think the kids enjoyed the play dough and running up and down the steps the most.... lol

Wow over 10,000!

Hello family and friends. I just wanted to share briefly what the Lord is doing through the blogs and video ministry. I went and calculated the number of views on the Bible Time video's I post on Tangle, youtube, Myspace and wordpress. The numbers are very humbling, 10,000. This is not counting the videos on stickam. I am continuing to receive comments both good and bad. The Message is clear and it is getting out to the people who need most. It is the Grace of God working and you are a part of this ministry. Please keep praying for the harvest of souls. One day when we get to Glory someone may come up to you and say thank you for getting the message of Jesus Christ to me and my family. Think about that and then pray!

Sacrificing for The Lord!

I decided a while back to ban Pepsi and all of its products, which includes, Quaker, Gatorade, and Frito Lay! Believe me Pepsi and Lays Chips were two of my favorite foods. My reason for the boycott is that Pepsi Co. has been donating lots of money to gay rights as well as promoting the gay lifestyle on their television commercials. Do I not like gay people? It has nothing to do with LIKING or DISLIKING a person, but instead has everything to do with obeying my Lord. The Scriptures tell us, James 1:22 “don’t just listen to the scriptures, do what IT says”. If you are truly living for the Lord and living by the scriptures as the Lord directs us to do, then are you not ignoring and defying as well as choosing not to sacrifice for the Lord when you continue to enjoy these products as long as they support ANTI-CHRISTIAN agendas? Sacrifice for HIM is not something HE wants, it is something HE expects from HIS dedicated believers.
Mark 8:34-36
Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “If anyone would come after ME, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow ME. for whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for ME and the Gospel, will save it. What good is it for a man to gain the whole world yet forfeit his soul?"

Have a prayer filled day,
Regina

Tyler and Rob Golfing.....

As you all know, Rob and Tyler are both in Boy Scouts....
Well there is a golfing badge that Tyler needed. So, Rob and I took him Golfing last Wednesday (a week ago yesterday). We had a wonderful time. I was thrilled to watch Tyler learn this sport from his dad as Rob is a sports nut and a natural born teacher. I thank God daily for this new family to add to my existing wonderful family.

As usual the pics are posted on my web album at:

God is SO GOOD!!!

I just came home from a Mary Kay Career Conference and man am I on FIRE for my business! I saw so many Godly women working to support their families and staying home with their families all at the same time. It was awesome to see the BIG picture.
Then yesterday at church my Pastor that was diagnosed with Mass Cell Leukemia about 2 and 1/2 months ago came to church yesterday morning. He addressed the congregation and read some scripture to us from 1 Corn. 13 about LOVE! He endured a chemo "blast" which was continual chemo for 1 week. He spent a month in the hospital, one week for the blast and then 3 weeks to recover. He said that although his faith did waver a bit during the tough times, he has his foot on THE ROCK! It was sad to see him with no hair and very thin, but it was a great reminder of how God is not outdone and we are at HIS mercy, thank you Lord!
Our guest preacher delivered a message about discipleship and how we have to fully surrender to the Lord and die daily to the flesh! It was GREAT!
Thanks for reading... : D

Update on Fonda???

Anyone have an update on how Fonda is doing?

Fonda's Surgery

Please pray for Fonda.... Her surgery is Friday afternoon.
Also.... wish daddy a happy Birthday... Big 69 years old Friday.

Fond

Still cold in Ohio... burrrr!

Hello everyone! Due to Regina's begging and pleading I'm on here now... : D
Just wanted to fill you in on what's going on with me and mine. My hubby, Damion and I have been married for almost 4 years now. We bought a house a little over 2 years ago in Carlisle, Ohio. It's between Middletown and Dayton, it's a great little town. We have 3 kids! I think you all knew I had twin girls way back when, they are 7 now going on 25! Their names are Maile (pronounced Miley) and Paige. And we have a little boy, Tucker that just turned 3! So we are pretty busy most of the time. The girl's take ballet lessons and we just signed them up for coach-pitch baseball and Tucker is signed up for rag-ball! So we are about to get really busy!!! We have 3 pets as well, a boxer pup named Max, a beta fish named Shark Bait, and a snail named Scooby-Doo! 3 must be our number... : D
Damion drives a school bus for a living, so he has the best schedule. OFF in the summer! He is also the director for our church's puppet ministry, and one of the director's for our Vacation Bible School, and he is an usher at our church. Not to mention he is a wonderful husband and father. He is a great God-fearing man that the Lord knew needed to be in my life!
I am a Mary Kay beauty consultant, working my way to that FREE car, and I love it. It's my dream job that doesn't even feel like work. It is an awesome opportunity. I also have a 9 to 5 that I enjoy. It's at our local Steel Mill, so things are really slow right now and I'm thankful to have my Mary Kay business! I work in our church's nursery and children's church. Of course I help with the puppet ministry and VBS too. I also do our church's weekly bulletin - I really enjoy working for the Lord! He is the BEST boss... : D
Want to know something else... just ask!

Marley and Me! I loved it.

I absolutely fell in love with this movie..... I must purchase it when it comes out. Marley reminds me of my little Elsie and Rusty's big Buddy all bundled into one dog. For example Elsie made me chase her around the game room to get onto her for chewing up the bag the cat food was in... did I ever catch her. NO. I finally started throwing clothes at her so she would know I meant business. She ran for cover under Diane's desk.

We need updates!

Nicole, Diane, and Tanya, we need updates on the kids.
Lisa, I know you have been sick.... I hope you are feeling better. Bailey is sick also. This weather is not helping I am sure. I will be praying for you.

Wanted to share an update!

The last blog post was 4000 views. Now it is approaching 7000, WOW. Please continue to pray, for it appears the Lord is leading a lot of people to theses postings. Pray many will come to the Saving knowledge of Jesus Christ before He Returns! I am crying with joy knowing that the Father is using me this way.

Wanted to share

I do not know how many family members read these blogs but if you do, good. I wanted to share what's going on with Bible Time. I have started posting 10 minute videos on youtube, Godtube (which is now Tangle),Myspace and facebook. This is not counting the Bible studies and sermons on stickam. I must say I am humbled at how God has used these videos. The number of hits on youtube, Godtube and myspace have reached about 4000 people. I receive threats and good comments alike. The message is getting out in the hands of people the Lord is trying to reach for His Glory.I want to thank each of you for your support. Also something that has come my way is wordpress. I started posting written devotions as well as videos and so far the results have been amazing. If you would like to follow that blog it is www.bigpreacher.wordpress.com. I have often said to the Lord if there is one person that comes to the Saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through the teaching and preaching He has called me too then I will be most humbled and give Him the Praise due His Name! Until next time, be blessed in Jesus. P.S. my profile name on youtube is bigpreacher41. Tangle profile is bigpreacher. Just in case you wanted to know.

oh yes, I forgot some people in the family

Tyler is doing great outside of his typical teenage smart mouth....I get tickled at Rob since I have been there, done that!
Rob is doing pretty good. Have not heard anything about the new job yet. Please pray for him.
Diane is the same, running kids around.
Johnny is okay. Haven't heard any complaints. He has been working a lot and needs prayers to help him sleep and rest better.
Andy's eye surgery seems to be working great. He can see with no glasses.
James and Nicole are still working on building their house.
James and Fonda are planting a garden... a big one.
Aunt Bert is still 87 and hanging in there.
Daddy's birthday is this month on the 13th.

Pray much, it works,
xoxoxox

What is up with the NON bloggers.....?

It looks like we are all still waiting on Peyton's blog and pics from the dance... grrr
Ryan had an Orchestra concert today. He is still working on College stuff to make a final decision.
Bailey started dance and tumbling... ? I know she is learning to do cartwheels... lol ... bet that is cute to watch.
Mom is still waiting to get her biopsy results from her upper endoscopy (EGD) to try to figure out what is going on with her.
Fonda is having Gall Bladder surgery on 3/13 and still having lots of abdomen pain.
Billy is ill like Lisa with the crud. (but they both blog so I don't need to update anyone on them)
Elsie and Tucker had a bath today and got their nails clipped.... so cute in their little neck scarfs.
Callie the cat is old and feeble. She can still bat Elsie upside the head though.... lol...
Aaron, Ashton, Logan and Daddy as far as I know do not have any updating news right now.
We need to plan another family night for dinner. Anyone have any suggestions where they would like to go? Text me if you do and I will get it all set up.
Oh yeah, mom and dad will be in town for Ryan's graduation so I thought we would have a family reunion then. I am working on the plans for that now.
Love you all.
xoxoxo
p.s. Tanya and Raegan we need to know how the new pregnancy is coming along and how the boys are.

This big big world.....

Sometimes, when you sit and think about life you get a clarifying in site of just how happy and blessed you are. We should remember this daily, but I know I don't. I have less material things in life now than I have ever had in my past life, but I still feel happier and more free now. Sure, I have a few things I want to improve on in my life. But over all, less has been best for me. It took me a long time to see that. Of course I do not have two small children I am raising on my own right now either, and that makes a huge difference in the stress level. There are so so so many things regarding my children that I wish I could go back in time and redeem a "do over" on. But since I can't I have made peace with me. And that is a great thing for anyone to do!
My Father God always has me in his grasp, and I love it.

oh, man, do I feel yuckie!

Salutations my friends and family. I just wanted to update here. I feel sooo yuckie! As my sinus pressure and stuffiness seems to be improving, last night I was clenching my jaw SO hard I was dreaming that I needed to wake up cause it was hurting. I woke up at 3:30am and the whole right side of my face was swollen and my jaw by my ear is SO sore! Please say a prayer for me, cause as I am taking care of myself I am also taking care of these 3 kiddos who have felt like testing me alot the past few days.
But, enough moaning , Praise the Lord - I am alive, I am aware, and I am forgiven! I have so much to be thankful for!
We will be visiting Chase Oaks Church on Legacy this Sunday morning for service and Sunday school! It would be nice to find a church home for our family and I look forward to going!
I just hope I feel well enough because I have been waiting for a long time to visit!
Well, I love you all and hope you have a wonderful Friday night!

The new stuff...

Well, I know that Peyton is still supposed to blog about her dance. Ryan had a concert on Thursday night, but I have not heard the details yet. Nicole text messaged me and told me Bailey had high blood pressure. They are going to watch it for a few months. That is really scary. I know mom had a scope today, but Billy didn't know the results yet. The results should be available in a few days. Keep praying for her.
I love you all..... xoxoxo

Christianity vs. Religion

I would like to share this article.
“Why are you Christians always sending missionaries overseas? People have their own culture, their own religion, why don’t you just leave them alone?!” This is one of the most common statements we hear as we lecture on college and university campuses throughout the United States and around the world. Students and faculty often jeeringly ask us, “What is so special about Christianity, different from every religion in the world?” To be sure, this is a very significant question; and probably one of the most significant questions that any Christian could ask themselves: what is so special about Jesus Christ?
Our family has a close friend named Lou. Lou grew up in the nation of Thailand and he was a Buddhist for the first 20 years of his life until he met some Christian missionaries who introduced him to Jesus Christ. If you were to ask Lou today, “What is so special about Jesus Christ and Christianity different from every other religion in the world?” Lou would share with you the following story:
“When I was a Buddhist I felt like I was in the middle of a large lake. I was drowning and I didn’t know how to swim. As I struggled to keep my head above water, I looked out towards the shore and saw Buddha walking up to the edge of the lake. I was going under for the third time, when suddenly Buddha began shouting out instructions to me, teaching me how to swim. Buddha shouted, ‘Kick your legs and paddle your arms.’ But then Buddha said, ‘Lou, you must make it to shore by yourself.’ As I desperately struggled to follow the instructions of Buddha, I looked out towards the shore again, but this time I saw Jesus Christ walking towards the edge of the lake. However, Jesus did not stop at the edge of the lake. Jesus dove into the lake and he swam out and rescued me! And once Jesus had brought me safely back to shore, then he taught me how to swim, so that I could go back and rescue others!” You see, this is the key difference between Christianity and every other religion in the world: Christianity is not a religion! What are religions? Religions are about human attempts to make our lives right with God, through our good works, sacrifices, rituals, and money. However, Christianity is not a religion. Christianity is about God entering human history to graciously save men and women through His Son Jesus Christ. It is only by placing our faith in Jesus Christ and submitting to his Lordship that we will be saved. Let us be sharing this Truth with everyone! Be Blessed in Jesus!

Hmm...

what if i don't want to contribute anything? huh ? what then????

Incredible Pizza

I have to say, Incredible Pizza WAS incredible! I can't believe the kids played for 3 hours on $5.00 game cards! The pizza was great, salad bar, awesome! I want to THANK Regina, Dad, Diane, and Mother's Day Out for helping my kids have a wonderful time last night! They had a BLAST!

In other news, I have been making Tanya's business cards for her Mary Kay business for a year now. She just emailed me yesterday morning and asked if I would consider being her MK office support, and I would never have to buy Mary Kay again! I of course said YES! I have since made invitations and gift certificates and I am helping her update her customer contact information. We are working toward the goal of getting her business booming so that she will be able to possibly stay home when she has her new baby! YES! She is 9 weeks pregnant, and praying for a GIRL!

Other than that, Nathon's sick and trying to re coop this weekend so that he will be better by the time he returns to work Monday morning. And the kids are great, just been playing and driving each other crazy as usual! As for me, I stay busy taking care of everyone and the house, and I am very excited about my new endeavor of helping Tanya and getting paid with Mary Kay products that I enjoy!
That's all for now!

Who is Holly? Let me explain....

Holly has become the newest member of the McClure family. She is Peyton's best friend. But Holly is so universal she has become Ryan's best friend, Aaron's best friend, Ashton's best friend, Johnny's best friend, and Diane's best friend..... Even Tucker's best friend.... Holly is very loved.

A wonderful story of God's supernatural hand in answering prayer.

Prayerfully Arranged Marriage
James Rutz, author of MegaShift, tells a wonderful story of God's supernatural hand in answering prayer.

"The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much" (James 5:16).

"I have a good friend named Barclay Tait who sells vacation real estate in Niceville, Florida. Back in 1977, he was a 36-year-old Florida basketball coach. That summer, he decided to hitch-hike to a Christian conference in Front Royal, Virginia. Arriving four days early, he went to a nearby forest and pitched his tent by a stream. On the last day, a tall, thin hiker with a notebook under his arm suddenly appeared, startling him as he read his Bible. Barclay explained that he came out there to fast and meditate.

Dave, the hiker, replied, "Well, I'm an intercessor. What would you like me to pray for?"

Feeling somewhat overwhelmed, Barclay said, "Uh, frankly, I'd like prayer for a wife." The man wrote the request in his notebook and walked on.

By 1988, Barclay, now married to Sherry, has been divinely guided to move to Asheville, North Carolina. A chance encounter in the Holiday Inn parking lot led to an invitation to join a gathering of a Christian group outside of town. Arriving just before the 7:00 P.M. meeting, the host walks in from the kitchen and stops dead in his tracks. "I know you!" he exclaims, pointing his finger. "You're Barclay Tait!" Barclay draws a blank.

"Just a minute. I have something I want to show you," the host announces. He scampers upstairs, leaving the puzzled Taits standing in the middle of the suddenly hushed room. In a moment the host reappeared with a well-worn ledger book. "See here? This is where I wrote your prayer request in column one when I met you in Front Royal in 1977: 'Barclay Tait: God's choice for a wife.'" Barclay looked down at the journal entry. It was the most detailed, methodical prayer journal he'd ever seen.

"I prayed for you for seven years," proclaims Dave. "Then in the middle of the night on December 30, 1984, God woke me up out of a sound sleep and said, 'Write in your journal, "Prayer answered." So I did. See? Here in column two, "Prayer answered.'"

Barclay and Sherry look at each other with their mouths open. They sat down, and their eyes fill with tears. Quietly, Barclay tells Dave, "That was the day we were married."

Camden Church outing!

It was Mrs. Bells b-day and the Camden Church decided to take this precious woman to lunch. Everyone came and was filled with love, fellowship and food. It would have only been better if some of you could have been here. Mrs. Bell is quiet but wise. When she speaks it is always full of light and salt.

True Romance

I Must Say this was the most special Valentine's Day weekend ! Rob is the most wonderful man. The Lord has truly blessed me with a very special husband. I have always dreamed of a man that loves me unconditionally and ALLOWS me to feel that unconditional love. I now have it! I honestly never ever thought I would. This weekend something was completed in me that I can not explain in words, but I know Rob and the Lord understand it. It is a feeling of completeness with the three of us, Rob, The Lord, and me.It just took that extra little push.
Rob took me away for a nice little retreat, instead of a traditional gift for Valentine's Day he took me shopping, so we spent the day at the mall walking around, shopping and talking. It was very nice. We went to a movie, watched junior hockey, had lunch and just spent some amazing quality time together.
God really blessed us with an awesome weekend of TRUE LOVE !!!!

Ryan's Letter of Acceptance to SH

Ryan showed me his letter of acceptance to Sam Houston tonight... I am so proud. That is the school Stevee goes to. I am not sure if that is where he will go for sure but it will be cool if he does decide to go there.
Yeah for Ryan... another smart kid in the family.

Love, Aunt Regina

By the way I hear Bailey is STILL not feeling good..... yuck....

Mom's lump

Mom fell a week or so ago and had a lump in her breast. The docs looked at it today and said it was nothing to worry about that it was from the fall. It was a blood clot that would dissolve and go away.
Praise the Lord!
You go God!
Love ya Momma...... Love, Regina

First post to this family page

Hi everyone,
The purpose of this blog is for everyone in our family (I hope) to sign up to be able to blog here. That way when something major, minor, funny, praise worthy, or prayerful happens to you or someone in your household you can blog it and everyone in our family will get the email or can log on and comment. Now, they can reply to the email the blog auto sends them and only the blogger will get the comment or they can comment on the blog page and everyone can see the comment. I have sent you all email invites for you to accept the invite to be able to sign on and blog. If you already have a gmail account you are good to go... if not then dang it you have to set up one, but it is free. Tanya, Lisa. and Jane's kids are the only ones I am waiting to get email addresses from to add to the list. Happy blogging.... I can't wait. I will post a few sample blogs. Be sure to sign off.
Love you all, Regina
