oh, man, do I feel yuckie!
But, enough moaning , Praise the Lord - I am alive, I am aware, and I am forgiven! I have so much to be thankful for!
We will be visiting Chase Oaks Church on Legacy this Sunday morning for service and Sunday school! It would be nice to find a church home for our family and I look forward to going!
I just hope I feel well enough because I have been waiting for a long time to visit!
Well, I love you all and hope you have a wonderful Friday night!

Christianity vs. Religion
“Why are you Christians always sending missionaries overseas? People have their own culture, their own religion, why don’t you just leave them alone?!” This is one of the most common statements we hear as we lecture on college and university campuses throughout the United States and around the world. Students and faculty often jeeringly ask us, “What is so special about Christianity, different from every religion in the world?” To be sure, this is a very significant question; and probably one of the most significant questions that any Christian could ask themselves: what is so special about Jesus Christ?
Our family has a close friend named Lou. Lou grew up in the nation of Thailand and he was a Buddhist for the first 20 years of his life until he met some Christian missionaries who introduced him to Jesus Christ. If you were to ask Lou today, “What is so special about Jesus Christ and Christianity different from every other religion in the world?” Lou would share with you the following story:
“When I was a Buddhist I felt like I was in the middle of a large lake. I was drowning and I didn’t know how to swim. As I struggled to keep my head above water, I looked out towards the shore and saw Buddha walking up to the edge of the lake. I was going under for the third time, when suddenly Buddha began shouting out instructions to me, teaching me how to swim. Buddha shouted, ‘Kick your legs and paddle your arms.’ But then Buddha said, ‘Lou, you must make it to shore by yourself.’ As I desperately struggled to follow the instructions of Buddha, I looked out towards the shore again, but this time I saw Jesus Christ walking towards the edge of the lake. However, Jesus did not stop at the edge of the lake. Jesus dove into the lake and he swam out and rescued me! And once Jesus had brought me safely back to shore, then he taught me how to swim, so that I could go back and rescue others!” You see, this is the key difference between Christianity and every other religion in the world: Christianity is not a religion! What are religions? Religions are about human attempts to make our lives right with God, through our good works, sacrifices, rituals, and money. However, Christianity is not a religion. Christianity is about God entering human history to graciously save men and women through His Son Jesus Christ. It is only by placing our faith in Jesus Christ and submitting to his Lordship that we will be saved. Let us be sharing this Truth with everyone! Be Blessed in Jesus!

Incredible Pizza
In other news, I have been making Tanya's business cards for her Mary Kay business for a year now. She just emailed me yesterday morning and asked if I would consider being her MK office support, and I would never have to buy Mary Kay again! I of course said YES! I have since made invitations and gift certificates and I am helping her update her customer contact information. We are working toward the goal of getting her business booming so that she will be able to possibly stay home when she has her new baby! YES! She is 9 weeks pregnant, and praying for a GIRL!
Other than that, Nathon's sick and trying to re coop this weekend so that he will be better by the time he returns to work Monday morning. And the kids are great, just been playing and driving each other crazy as usual! As for me, I stay busy taking care of everyone and the house, and I am very excited about my new endeavor of helping Tanya and getting paid with Mary Kay products that I enjoy!
That's all for now!

Who is Holly? Let me explain....
A wonderful story of God's supernatural hand in answering prayer.
James Rutz, author of MegaShift, tells a wonderful story of God's supernatural hand in answering prayer.
"The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much" (James 5:16).
"I have a good friend named Barclay Tait who sells vacation real estate in Niceville, Florida. Back in 1977, he was a 36-year-old Florida basketball coach. That summer, he decided to hitch-hike to a Christian conference in Front Royal, Virginia. Arriving four days early, he went to a nearby forest and pitched his tent by a stream. On the last day, a tall, thin hiker with a notebook under his arm suddenly appeared, startling him as he read his Bible. Barclay explained that he came out there to fast and meditate.
Dave, the hiker, replied, "Well, I'm an intercessor. What would you like me to pray for?"
Feeling somewhat overwhelmed, Barclay said, "Uh, frankly, I'd like prayer for a wife." The man wrote the request in his notebook and walked on.
By 1988, Barclay, now married to Sherry, has been divinely guided to move to Asheville, North Carolina. A chance encounter in the Holiday Inn parking lot led to an invitation to join a gathering of a Christian group outside of town. Arriving just before the 7:00 P.M. meeting, the host walks in from the kitchen and stops dead in his tracks. "I know you!" he exclaims, pointing his finger. "You're Barclay Tait!" Barclay draws a blank.
"Just a minute. I have something I want to show you," the host announces. He scampers upstairs, leaving the puzzled Taits standing in the middle of the suddenly hushed room. In a moment the host reappeared with a well-worn ledger book. "See here? This is where I wrote your prayer request in column one when I met you in Front Royal in 1977: 'Barclay Tait: God's choice for a wife.'" Barclay looked down at the journal entry. It was the most detailed, methodical prayer journal he'd ever seen.
"I prayed for you for seven years," proclaims Dave. "Then in the middle of the night on December 30, 1984, God woke me up out of a sound sleep and said, 'Write in your journal, "Prayer answered." So I did. See? Here in column two, "Prayer answered.'"
Barclay and Sherry look at each other with their mouths open. They sat down, and their eyes fill with tears. Quietly, Barclay tells Dave, "That was the day we were married."

True Romance
Rob took me away for a nice little retreat, instead of a traditional gift for Valentine's Day he took me shopping, so we spent the day at the mall walking around, shopping and talking. It was very nice. We went to a movie, watched junior hockey, had lunch and just spent some amazing quality time together.
